interview with a fourth year student about the use of technology

As an evidence about the use of the modern technology, i interviewed a graduating student, she is Ms. Irish Jorque BEED 4. She shared some information about the modern technology such as its advantage to the students like us. She says that through the use of technology, students are not hard up to make it. for instance research work, instead of going to library and scan a book, nowadays, just surf the net and presto they already searched their project. Another example that she shared about the advantage in using the technology is that, students when they are tasked to report in the class, instead of printing their report in a manila paper, they use of a laptop and make a power point presentation wherein they just click on the next slide while discussing their reports.
She also says that during their final demonstration some of her classmates uses a technology to further introduce their subject matter. Aside from the disadvantages that we can get through the use of technology, she also mentioned about the disadvantages in using it. She says that in spite of the advantages of the technology, there were also disadvantages through using it. such disadvantage is that once you are already skilled in using it wherein you also have an account such as facebook, friendster etc, you will be addicted in using it. Second is that when using the technology such as laptop wherein you make a powerpoint presentation, there is a tendency that it might not work. in short in using this kind of technology inside the classroom, it should well prepared. In conclusion to what she said, technology is a great help for us despite of its disadvantages.

"FRIENDSTER ONE WAY OF COMMUNICATION"

Nowadays, youths are very much knowledgeable about the use of social networks. One the social network that being introduce is the friendster. As i have my own account on friendster, i have noticed that it is also one way of communication. Yes! it is really a great help for us to keep in touch with our friends even though they are in a far place. Based on my own experience friendster serves as our communication with my bestfriends. Since they are studying in Manila, we make use of friendster in able for us to see each other even though through pictures only. however we can't also deny the fact that friendster in spite of its advantage, there are also advantages in using it especially to the students. Such disadvantages upon using friendster is that:
1. There is a tendency for you to be addicted. As i was in the computer cafe, i noticed that students instead of reviewing their lessons during their vacant period, or even in examination time, they are in the computer cafe opening their friendster account just to check if they have a new message, if someone has viewed their profile or upload a new photos and so on, which is not necessary foer them to do.
2. Waste of money. students who are being addicted to friendster, are opening their account everyday, or even in an hour. just as i mentioned while back they just want to see if there is new message etc. which is a waste of money.
3. Can cause a low grades to students. It can also make the students in getting a low grade, because of instead of opening their notebooks to review their lesson, using their vacant period in reviewing, students prefer to go in a computer cafe to open their account.
in spite of the dis advadtages that we can get in having a friendster account, there are also advantages that we can get in using it. such advantages that we can get are:
1. One way of communication. it is really a great help especially to those group of friends who are far from each other. through using it, we can keep in touch to our love ones.
2. Enhances your skill. through frienster, it is not only a way of communication but also it enhances your skill in using modern technology.
So if i were you sign in to frienster one way to communicate with your friends......!
